Full Job Description
The Role
Helios Law, P.C. is a plaintiff-side AI-powered litigation firm. Our practice is seeking an attorney for employment and personal injury matters. We are most interested in someone who is hungry to grow as an attorney and legal tech leader.
We're looking to hire a partner for our firm, specifically a California-licensed litigator who wants to own their docket, not just assist on someone else's. You'll manage cases across multiple practice areas from intake through resolution, with autonomy over strategy, client relationships, and day-to-day decisions. Plaintiff experience is a plus, but strong litigators from the defense side who are ready to advocate for individuals are equally welcome.
What You'll Do
- Independently manage a caseload across employment and personal injury
- Develop case theories and drive litigation strategy from early assessment through trial or settlement
- Draft and argue motions, handle discovery and depositions, and appear in state and federal court
- Maintain direct client relationships
- Contribute to how the firm uses technology to work smarter and serve clients better
What We're Looking For
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Willing to relocate to Bay Area; relocation expenses will be covered by firm
- 1-4 years of civil litigation experience, plaintiff or defense
- Desire to work on plaintiff-side matters
- Ability and appetite to manage your own caseload independently
- Interest in legal technology and how AI and modern tools can improve access to justice; curiosity counts more than expertise here
Compensation
- Base salary: $105,000-$205,000
- Additional shares/equity
